Here is what that means in practice. When I recommend a practical service, renting a car for the coastal road, a fixed-price transfer to a trailhead, an eSIM so you have signal when the furgon drops you somewhere unexpected, travel insurance for the mountains, the link sometimes goes through a partner platform. If you book through it, the platform pays this site a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
A few promises, because trust is the whole point of this site:
- I only link services in places where you genuinely need them. A guide to the Valbona pass mentions insurance because you should have it, not because I earn from it.
- No link ever changes what I write. If a beach is ruined, I say so. If the bus is better than the transfer, I say that too.
- Articles containing affiliate links carry a note at the top, so you always know before you read.
